Our Mission Statement

The Prince George Sexual Assault Centre provides counselling, advocacy, and support services in a safe and supportive environment for individuals, families, and groups. We work with women, men, children, and all 2SLGBTQQAI+ people to help them overcome the effects of sexual violence. We advocate for societal change that does not tolerate oppression, exploitation, or violence in any form. We strive to influence and increase awareness by delivering public education, and together as a community, create a culture free from sexual violence.

Providing You With a Safe Space to Breathe

All appointments take place in a calm, welcoming office environment designed to support comfort, privacy, and healing. Our space features fully private counselling rooms, along with complimentary coffee, tea and water to help you feel at ease.

We also offer a dedicated play therapy room for children, thoughtfully designed to support expression and connection in a safe, age-appropriate setting. A selection of snacks is available to help make your visit more comfortable.

In-Person and Remote Options

Our office is located in Prince George. For those who are unable to attend in person, we also offer flexible options including telephone and secure online sessions, ensuring you can access support in a way that works best for you.
